About Us

When I first started my clothing brand, I was broke looking for the most lucrative way to make money with minimal effort. The name “Hoss” came from my brother and after learning the meaning behind it it stuck for two reasons. One being I’m over 6’5” and well over 300 pounds. The other being that I’ve always been reliable to anyone that needed me to be. It became personality trait I’m proud of. After a couple months of not taking it seriously and looking at it as a cash grab I realized something. I have an opportunity to put MY creativity out for the world to see. I can speak all day, but like the latin proverb, “Verba volant, scripta manent”, which essentially means spoken words might easily be forgotten, but written documents can be conclusive, I would rather carve my words in stone. Wearing them turned out to make a bigger statement (and looks a lot better). This is my name. My name is my legacy, and I didn’t want my legacy to be attached to something that I didn’t put my best effort into. I put it on pause to do research and find purpose in it and started a job in the trades. I’ve been a laborer, mechanic, ironworker, millwright, and a welder. All those trades are different, but they all have one thing in common. They take a lot of work, and I started to pride myself on the work that I do. When I did everything changed. My work ethic bought my things and took my places that I would’ve never gotten or gone without it. I made a logo, redesigned the website, and created brand identity, but it was missing something. A slogan or a phrase that other clothing brands had to set themselves apart from the crowd. I thought on it for a bit, and then it hit me. What pushed me to wake up, go to work, put my all into everything I do, and fuel my passion? “Hustle” That’s where it came from. No matter what mood I was in, what situation I was in or any other factor. Everything can change if you just hustle. Not just enough to get by either. Hustle harder than your situation demands. Hustle harder than your competition. Always hustle harder and watch how everything falls into place. If those two words pushed me to get where I am and to be the man I am today why not share it, so I do. You may not be big enough to be a HOSS , but anyone can be a HUSTLER.
